FEBRUARY UPDATE: Training and Visitations

Greetings!

Wow, March really snuck up on me! So I must apologize that the "February Update" is coming to you a day late.

There was not a lot of news this month but we expect next month will bring additional plans and announcements after our deep-dive strategy training with our state partners this week!

• Our 4-Point Training with Missouri Main Street Connection is scheduled for this week, Thursday, March 3rd, 4-7pm downtown. At this training, our local Main Street board and a few community members will go through training on the Main Street 4-Point Approach and learn how to apply this 4-point model to our chosen Transformation Strategies: Arts & Entertainment and Strategic Occupancy. (While our seating is quite limited for this training, we do still have a couple of seats for interested community members who might be interested in a future board or committee role! Rest assured, there will be other opportunities for community engagement and learning opportunities in the future!) 
  
  
• We are currently coordinating downtown business visitations for this spring in effort to get to know our downtown neighbors, share information on the Main Street model, and learn about the struggles and opportunities business owners are seeing from their many vantage points. We're looking forward to this process!
